Organisational Structure
The Chief Executive, Carolyn Walsh is responsible for the effective management of ITSRR and reports directly to the Minister for Transport.
The Chief Executive has four direct reports including the Executive Director of Transport Safety Regulation, Len Neist, the Executive Director of Policy and Strategy, Natalie Pelham, the Executive Director of Corporate Services and Planning, Paul Harris and the Executive Director of Service Reliability, Simon Foster.
The Chief Executive also has at her discretion the ability to draw upon the expertise of the ITSRR Advisory Board, Chaired by Mr Rob Schwarzer. The ITSRR Advisory Board is comprised of eminent experts in areas relevant to the operation of the ITSRR. The Board members have experience in rail safety management systems, safety science, customer service, incident investigation, and public administration.
