Rail Safety Act 2008 industry briefings
In February and March 2009 ITSRR held a range of industry briefing sessions focusing on the key requirements of the Rail Safety Act 2008. The briefings featured a presentation on the Act and Regulations followed by a question and answer session with a panel of senior ITSRR staff. More information is available in the presentation below.
Industry information session for heritage operators
ITSRR's heritage strategy comprises initiatives to assist heritage operators in meeting their rail safety obligations. ITSRR hosted an industry information session on 12 December 2008 to provide an update on the heritage strategy and gather operator feedback on proposed future activities.
