Executive safety seminar – don’t miss out
Acting Chief Executive Simon Foster said the ESS on 11 November was aimed at senior executives and focused on key issues heading into 2011.
"A robust asset management system is essential for all rail transport operators in NSW. There is a link between good asset management and good business and good safety outcomes. Asset management is a priority for ITSR – as it should be for industry – so this is a presentation not to be missed.
"There has been enormous interest throughout the year in the topic of competence of rail safety workers. From 1 January 2011 there are additional requirements which rail transport operators must meet. With the transition period coming to an end, this presentation will help operators determine whether they have taken all the necessary steps.”
