NSW Accredited Operators
The list below is current as of 17 April 2009.
With the commencement of the Rail Safety Act 2008 on 1 January 2009, some organisations accredited by ITSRR under Rail Safety Act 2002 will no longer require accreditation.
Operators who require accreditation under the Rail Safety Act 2008 do not need to reapply for accreditation. Existing notices of accreditation will continue to apply until new notices have been issued.
ITSRR is reviewing all current accreditation notices to assess which operators need to be accredited under the Rail Safety Act 2008.
As part of this process, operators will be given the opportunity to meet with senior ITSRR staff to discuss their obligations under the new Act in the first few months following commencement of the Act.
The same consultation process will be offered to currently accredited operators who may no longer require accreditation under the new Act.
