Waterfall reports 2009
ITSR continues to implement, verify and report upon the NSW Government's response to the recommendations contained within the Final Report of the Special Commission of Inquiry into the Waterfall accident. The recommendations relate to actions needed by RailCorp, emergency services agencies, ITSR, the Office of Transport Safety Investigations and the rest of the rail industry of NSW. ITSR provides quarterly reports to the Minister for Transport on the progress of implementation, the link to which are below. The Minister tables the reports in the NSW Parliament.
Further information about the history and progress of the implementation of all the Inquiry’s recommendations is available below. This includes a table of all 177 recommendations and a summary of the 16 recommendations that have been closed subject to the implementation of an approved program or plan.
